The impetus towards implementing the wholesale Reforms in 14-19 is gathering speed. While it's an obvious statement, September 2010 is very near. This is was never more true than for the integration of 'functionality' across the curriculum and the introduction of the new Key Stage 4 curriculum frameworks including the new GCSEs and Functional Learning.
The requirement that all diploma students must pas all three of the Functional Skills at the appropriate level is putting a lot of young people and their teachers under pressure. How well prepared do you feel your students have been for Functional Skills? Let me know your thoughts. I am here to help.
Any leader, practitioner or organisation in Bradford Confederations should simply call me. The Bradford Confederations’ Functional Skills survey has been circulated to all Confederations management and CPD groups plus Diploma Teams but in case you missed it by email it can be downloaded here. There are still a few surveys outstanding so please return them asap.
