Diploma
News- July
Welcome
to the July issue of Diploma News, bringing you local and
national Diploma related news.
Diploma
Leads, Development Teams, and support
staff have been working hard throughout the year
preparing for September when a further seven
Diploma lines will be available to
Bradford students. Many
thanks to all who have worked so hard to make the
Diploma the right choice for the young people of the
District and to provide them with a positive learning
experience. We hope you all enjoy a well earned rest
over the summer and look forward to working with
you in September on the exciting challenges
ahead.
The
Bradford
Experience
Young
people in Bradford were
amongst the first in the country to have the opportunity
to study for the Diploma in Creative & Media in
September 2008. As the academic year draws to
a close we have circulated a short, anonymous
student questionnaire to participating schools and
college to gather valuable student feedback about their
learning experiences. The feedback will be used to make
changes where possible to improve the programmes
offered.

Diploma
assessment is a particularly complex area and it is essential
that teaching staff have a solid understanding of the

It
is strongly recommended that all Diploma practitioners attend
the assessment training sessions facilitated by Karen Birch
