Leadership and Management - Quality Standards

Quality Improvement is a major priority for the CLE - and very timely.

Our recent work with partners in Bradford Confederations has been to develop an overarching Quality Improvement strategy for 14-19 provision and outcomes. The development group, involving partners from across Confederations, has produced the 'Quality Improvement Protocols'. These are statements describing expectations for all aspects of provision for 14-19 year olds in a range of learning situations.

The 'Quality Improvement Protocols' are cross referenced to both Common Inspection Framework and Every Child Matters. The framework enables managers to gain an overview and also to monitor the quality of provision their learners experience.

We are keen to support identification and sharing of best practice in Quality Improvement strategies across learning providers and voluntary / community organisations.
