Learning and Teaching - Teaching Functional Skills
These sessions, delivered by nationally registered trainers are provided by the LSIS (formerly the QIA) Functional Skills Support Programme and are part of the national roll-out of Functional Skills.
The sessions will give an introduction to the specifications and key features of Functional Skills English, Mathematics and ICT in practice. Designed for 'non-pilot' centres and practitioners who are new to Functional Skills delivery, they are also suitable for experienced teachers and tutors who are new to Functional Skills.
